📸 Step 1: Let’s Get to Know Your Teen
After booking, I’ll send over a questionnaire to learn all about your teen—their style, interests, and whether they’re an introvert, extrovert, or somewhere in between. Then, we’ll meet up—either at a cozy coffee shop or in my downtown studio—to plan everything! From location and outfits to grad announcements and wall art, we cover it all. But most importantly, this is where I build a connection with your teen, ensuring they feel confident and excited rather than just “taking photos for Mom & Dad.”
🎬 Step 2: The Shoot—Where the Magic Happens
For the ladies, the session kicks off with professional hair and makeup in my studio, giving them that extra glow of confidence. Meanwhile, the guys dive straight into their shoot. We’ll head to a handpicked location—whether it’s the vibrant streets of downtown Jacksonville, the stunning coastline of Wrightsville Beach, or another favorite spot. With up to 90 minutes, two locations, and multiple outfit changes, we create a dynamic session full of variety and personality!
✨ Step 3: The Big Reveal
After the session, we break for lunch while I carefully curate the very best images. Then—within about an hour—it’s time for the grand reveal! You and your teen will get to see their stunning portraits and hand-select your favorites for printing, custom album designs, and gorgeous wall art. This is the best part—watching their confidence soar as they see themselves in a whole new light.

Every session includes a pre-session consultation, a value-packed session guide, their personalized photoshoot, and a same-day, in-person ordering appointment. This is where the magic happens! You’ll get to see their stunning images the very same day and choose the perfect portraits for your home—whether it’s wall art, keepsakes, or a custom album.
For Senior Portraits, the day typically kicks off at 9:30 AM and wraps up around 1:30 PM—a full morning of fun, confidence, and unforgettable memories!

Inquire
Within 24 hours of your call or email I will respond to your inquiry and learn more about your session needs and we can discuss availability. Once your session fee is placed and contract completed, we plan your session consult.

Consult
This is such an important step in your experience, he we will discuss location, wardrobe, hair and makeup as well as any plans you have for wall art or albums. We are documenting your child’s greatest accomplishments thus far, these photos deserve to be on your walls!

Session
Your teen’s session will begin at 9:30 am. This allows time for hair and makeup and a breakfast to fuel them throughout their shoot. Our sessions are approximately 90 minutes long and may involve multiple locations.

Ordering Session
After your shoot I suggest going and grabbing some lunch and enjoying some time together. By about noon I will have your soft proof gallery ready for image selection. During your one hour ordering appointment we will iron out the details of all your digital and keepsake needs.

Delivery
This is one of my favorite parts of your whole experience! I personally deliver all your beautiful photos, keepsake boxes, or grad cards and you will receive your selected digital images as well. Turn around time for products vary, however rest assured that you will have your digital selections within 3 weeks of your child’s session date.
