Jacksonville’s Holiday Gift Guide

Before heading off to big-box stores like Target or Amazon, let’s take a moment to look local first. All year long, our small businesses pour their time, energy, and resources into supporting our schools, sports teams, and charities. This season is the perfect opportunity for us to show that same care right back to them.

I love starting my holiday shopping with an iced Pear-fection latte from Blend, just across from downtown Jacksonville. The Milk Road Downtown has a delicious way of adding brown sugar to their coffee and I’ve been known to overly frequent their new location. Another new favorite of mine is quickly becoming Bistro 1940, their peppermint latte tastes like Christmas in a cup.

When it comes to gifts, I always stop by my neighbors at Reina’s and Cozy Co. for stocking stuffers and thoughtful little treasures. Reina’s is perfect for all things feminine, and Cozy Co. is my go-to for customized candles or a gift certificate for someone who deserves something special.

For clothing, Miledas on New Bridge Street has the cutest options for kids and plenty of festive outfits for you, too. I’m also a loyal Shimmer Boutique shopper; I recently picked up holiday PJs, earrings for myself, and even some small gifts from their men’s section. The tattered cottage is perfect for decorators and hostesses alike. Every time I step inside I fall in love with their shop. Between my favorites from our friends at the The Honey Collective, Milades, Shimmer, Tuck + Tailored, Fanci Friends, Chica’s Corner, and Reina’s for formalwear, I almost never have to leave Jacksonville to find something perfect for any occasion.

Experience gifts are always a hit as well. Tuition for Riverwalk Ballet or a season pass to Zing Zumm is ideal for little ones who love to learn, move, and explore. My 8 year old loves both the ballet and acro classes provided by Emily at Riverwalk. Gift cards to any of our downtown restaurants including The Clove Hitch, Overruled, Chicano’s or my favorite aforementioned cafés are a nice way to say thank you and treat someone to a cozy cup or evening out.

And of course, you can never go wrong with fine-art portraits and keepsakes for family. While our heirloom albums have an 8-week turnaround, our museum-grade wall art can still arrive in time for Santa to take all the credit. Whether you're refreshing your own walls before hosting or gifting parents with timeless treasures, I’m always happy to turn any digital photo into a tangible memory that will be cherished for generations.

It’s easy to forget, but the holidays are really about community- showing up, supporting one another, and keeping our town thriving. This season, choose to shop small. Choose to support your neighbors. I truly believe Jacksonville can wrap up 2025 with more connection, heart, and prosperity than ever.
